Dave Fleming Achieves CEnvP Ecology Specialist Certification

Congratulations to Dave Fleming, Principal Ecologist in our Brisbane office, for attaining Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) Ecology Specialist status.

The CEnvP specialist certification recognises environmental practitioners who show at least 10 years' full-time equivalent practice in the functional area of ecology (standard certification requires a minimum of 5 years), have been nominated by three respected environmental professionals (of which two must be ecologists) who are respected, competent, ethical and active members of the profession. CEnvPs must also abide by a code of ethical and professional conduct, commit to ongoing professional development.

The scheme is an initiative of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and aims to ensure talented, skilled and ethical environmental professionals are given due professional recognition. It also provides a greater level of assurance to the community, employers, clients and professional associates of the credentials and peer recognition of an environmental professional.
