Event: ACT State of the Environment Report

Highlights and Practical Applications

The 2015 ACT State of the Environment Report is a key document for decision makers. Unfortunately many people do not understand how it can be applied to and benefit development applications, consultancy reports, engineering designs, environmental management plans and more.

In this upcoming seminar, highlights and findings from this important document will be summarised as well as little-known opportunities for practical application.

ACT Government’s Environment and Planning Directorate, in partnership with the ACT Division of Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ), are convening this free event as part of their Environmental Seminar Series

Report contributor, Richard Sharp, Senior Consultant (Environment and Infrastructure) at Ecology and Heritage Partners in Canberra, will be speaking at the seminar alongside Becky Smith, State of the Environment Manager, Office of the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment. Their presentations will be followed by facilitated question time.

Environmental professionals and other key decision makers across the ACT and surrounding regions are invited to attend.
