David Liao, Yih-Sheng Investments Pty Ltd is proposing a plan for the future subdivision and development of a 30-hectare property at 200 Ballan Road, Moorabool, Victoria (EPBC 2023/09498).
The proposed action was referred to the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water to determine whether assessment and approval under the EPBC Act was required. On 20 October 2023, the proposed action was deemed a ‘controlled action’ under the EPBC Act subject to assessment by Preliminary Documentation. The controlling provisions are listed threatened species and communities (Section 18 and 18A).
Relevant matters of national environmental significance are habitat for the EPBC Act listed Growling Grass Frog Litoria raniformis major.
