Transport Infrastructure

The transport sector in Australia has experienced an unprecedented level of investment and expansion in recent years. This has occurred in urban, regional and remote areas, and often requires large multi-disciplinary consultant teams with the capacity to deliver services across multiple locations at short notice in a professional and safe manner.

Since 2005, Ecology and Heritage Partners have worked on hundreds of transport infrastructure developments, most recently level crossing removals in Victoria, major rail line upgrades and significant highway expansions that traverse a range of jurisdictions and environments.

Our team works closely with civil and construction contractors, engineers, project managers, road and rail authorities, and local, state and federal government, to deliver reliable advice and practical outcomes for road and rail projects.

Our natural and cultural heritage capability means we have the capacity to mobilise large or small teams of experts at short notice. Cultural heritage services include Aboriginal and historical heritage assessments, management plans, excavation and salvage. Our ecological services include biodiversity surveys and assessments, permit and licence applications, due diligence, vegetation offsets and environmental auditing, monitoring and compliance throughout the life of the project.
