Fingerboards Mineral Sands Project

The proposed Fingerboards Mineral Sands Project is located in East Gippsland, Victoria and will cover approximately 1,400 hectares. The project is currently undergoing an Environment Effects Statement (EES) process under the Environment Effects Act 1978 and Ecology and Heritage Partners has been working with Coffey Developments on behalf of Kalbar Resources to carry out detailed ecological investigations for the EES.

  • Aquatic habitat assessments
  • Biodiversity offset investigations and management strategy
  • Groundwater dependent ecosystems assessments
  • Impact assessment
  • Targeted fish surveys
  • Flora and fauna assessments
  • Vegetation mapping.
